When photographing weddings, I imagine my couples picking up their photo albums in twenty years. I aim to produce photos that will bring them right back to the day and all of its wild emotions. Your photos should bring back the butterflies you had whilst getting ready in the morning, your fast heartbeat as you walked down the aisle, the love that overwhelmed you during your kiss, the relief and joy that rushed through you whilst walking through the confetti aisle, and the warmth of the hugs from family and friends.
My photography is as versatile as my character. I can be quiet, I can be loud and I will adapt to what feels right on the day. I am convinced that letting the day run without any interruptions is best - but as a former event and wedding planner I am there if couples, guests, and vendors need help on the day to make your wedding as smooth as possible.

Choosing your Wedding Photographer
Real Wedding or Styled?
Can they adapt?
Extra Mile?
When looking at a photographer's portfolio, make sure you check out full client galleries! Instagram feeds and websites full of styled shoots and models can be misleading as the photos are cherry-picked. A handful of photos won't show what a photographer was able to capture over the course of an ever-changing wedding day. Always ask for full galleries, or at least 50 images, and make sure they have captured a real wedding day with a real story.
Your wedding - your day! Weddings are as special as the people who plan them, hence you need someone who can adapt quickly and appropriately to changing environments. Make sure you ask the right questions, e.g.: "Have you worked a wedding previosuly that had similar lighting conditions?" or "Which part of a wedding day do you find it most difficult to capture?" Photographers who can blend in and not be a nuisance to your guests can be great, but you may also want someone who is loud enough to organise group photos!
How flexible is the photographer willing to be with their time? Wedding days can overrun and you may decided on the day that you want the photographer to be there later than initally agreed. On top of that, with all the money you're spending, your photos - along with your wedding gifts, your rings and memories - will be what you have left over after all your guests have gone home. You should expect the extra mile but make sure you get a feel for a photographer's flexibility before hand.

About a month before your wedding, we will have a sit-down chat and create your own, personalised shot list together. This is an intense process that will help us stick to a certain style. It will also make sure that I have a clear list of unmissable shots that you want in your photo album as well as an idea of the type of candid, unplanned shots that you would like as well.
On top of my 8 years of photography experience, I am a trained event and wedding planner (certified by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) which is a skill that I am happy to use whilst we go through your planning process. Times flies when you're having fun!
Should you change your mind on the day and would like me to capture a bit more of your party in the evening you just have to ask. Per hour you will receive 50 extra photographs and you are able to extend for up to 2 hours.
