COUPLES PHOTOGRAPHY
Lifetime memories
Every love story is worth being captured.
Whatever your approach is, you never had professional shots taken with your partner or you simply want to update the picture frames in your home - I will capture your story in the most You-way.
My editing style is focusing on the feeling rather than technical accuracy. Although, nowadays there is no such thing as perfect editing. All editing styles fit somewhere and for my couple photos, I always try to reflect the couple and their relationship.
I am very certain that the trend of blurry and moody photos will never be out, it is simply too beautiful and definitely my favourite way of transporting emotions.
MOUNA & ROBERT
February 2024
Westminster Bridge, London, England
It is very hard to believe that Mouna and Robert have never been photogtaphed by a professional photographer before but it's true! For this photo session we met on London's busiest bridge for sunset time on a Sunday. My only instruction was "Whatever happens, don't let go of each other" - the rest is history. The light that evening was simply stunning and it definitely helps London to get rid of it's rainy image! Westminster bridge was absolutley packed with visitors from all across the globe but I managed to focus on their little world only.
TALLY & JACK
July 2020
Glen Coe, Highland, Scotland
Tally and Jack are time travelers originating from Victorian times. At least that is what it seems like in their photos. They both love dressing in Victorian clothes, even when no camera points at them. Tally and Jack immediately agreed to a day-long photo shoot in Glen Coe when I suggested it to them. Their trust and relaxed attitudes allowed me to play around with my gear, try out new poses, and chase the best light conditions. I returned home with more than 5.000 photos and had to somehow make a selection. I managed to select and edit more than 300 beautiful images, see for yourself...
KARO & SAM
June 2021
Tentsmuir Beach, The Kingdom of Fife, Scotland
When Karo, Sam, and I arrived at Tentsmuir Beach we were greeted by thick haar, a very cold breeze, and temperatures around 4 degrees. For Scotland that is nothing unusual but Scotland in June could be warmer than that! We improvised and used the weather to our advantage. Karo and Sam have been in front of the camera before and I could feel their calm and carefree vibes throughout the photo shoot. They even dipped their toes in the cold water and because it was so cold, the photo shoot lived through their constant movements.
FRANZI & JAN
October 2021
Berlin, Germany
There is quite a lot of pressure when your best friend asks you to take the first-ever professional photos of her and her boyfriend of several years but it definitely helped knowing that no matter how the photos will turn out, she will still be my loudest cheerleader. This session was the perfect mixture of romantic posing and fun spontaneous action that we all enjoyed so much. Franzi and Jan managed to fully let go of any awkwardness after a little silliness at the beginning and showed me what their relationship is all about. Deep love and a hell lot of fun.
TONI & NIKOLA
October 2021
Tentsmuir Beach, The Kingdom of Fife, Scotland
Toni and Nikola received a photo shoot with me as a wedding gift from a dear friend. That I was humbled by that is an understatement. Not long after the wedding Toni and Nikola got in touch with me and we met at one of my favourite beaches - Tentsmuir Beach. The two admitted to being a little camera shy and we started the shoot with shots taken from a distance. In that way, couples can warm up to me and the camera and I can get a feel for their relationship. I knew the ice was breaking when they started to dance whilst singing their wedding song and the rest is history.
ABI & DARREN
September 2020
Elie, The Kingdom of Fife, Scotland
Abi and Darren are talented photographers themselves and we agreed to a shoot swap. On the same day, we modeled for each other's portfolios, and out came the most romantic beach sunset photos. Elie, a Scottish coastal village is stunning in itself, let alone with an amazing sunset and a couple that is head over heels for each other. It helps when the couple also works behind the camera but that doesn't mean they know exactly what they're doing in front of the lens. It was a great way of learning new skills, for all of us that day.
